Giuseppe, or Peppo or Pino as he is known by family and friends, paints as a hobby.
He was born into an artistic family, his mother being an accomplished painter who graduated very young from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Until 1995 he painted in oils in a realistic style, influenced by his professional training as an engineer. Then he moved to acrylics, changing his palette and style, and started producing paintings that have been above all the product of imagination. Imaginative and colorful, they are in keeping with his lively, eclectic and humorous nature. He uses both brushes and spatula. For portraits he has also used gouache, pastel and pen and ink. As from 2007 he has been producing valuable gloss heavy paintings (by means of statuary Carrara marble) by an exclusive process.
